*42.5 hours per week: Mon - Fri 7.30am - 5pm, alternate Saturdays 8am - 12pm*

Are you passionate about sales and delivering brilliant customer service? Do you want to be part of a successful and vibrant team? We have an exciting opportunity for a Category Sales Administrator to join our Benchmarx team based at our offices in Leatherhead. 

Your main focus will be to support the wider team generating leads for the entire business through proactive outbound telephone activity with existing, new and potential customers so it’s the perfect role for you to put your customer service and sales skills to good use! The first point of contact for customers, you will be trained to be an expert in our products, so we’ll need you to have a real desire to learn and to make our customers happy.

We understand that there can be difficult days when making calls to customers, so within the office we try to make the day fun to keep everyone upbeat and in good spirits: Happy staff - Better conversations - Better leads!

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage, maintain and update the google based Customer Management Tool (CMT) with customer activity
  • In the absence of a colleague who covers regional support prioritise telephone call activity to ensure Lapsed and Non Trading Customers on the CMT are contacted
  • Have a structured approach and purpose for each telephone call referencing previous customer notes as appropriate and ensure a sales approach is adopted when doing so.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of current product range,  promotions and service both in branch that you are calling on behalf of and nationally
  • Work closely with branch colleagues and external sales representative to maximise all sales 
  • Generating leads and sales for stores within the region you will be supporting
  • Contacting customers with open quotes on the system to convert to sales
