The Role


As an Area Sales Representative, you will work to become the focal point for everything kitchen and joinery related for tradespeople in your region. The role will require you to proactively generate and cultivate business from new leads as well as established relationships to assist in maximising sales and drive business growth. 


Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager- South, you will be responsible for your sales territory, delivering growth, customer retention and overall customer experience. 



Principal Accountabilities 


  • Build strong sales pipeline through presence in identified geographical areas, desktop research and use of branch and centrally generated leads 


  • Manage and convert your sales pipeline through both calls and meetings (face to face/video) - demonstrating professional communications at all times


  • Identify key customer drivers and construct appropriate propositions to capture all relevant spend


  • Negotiate, monitor and manage an appropriate pricing structure, focusing upon profitable sales growth and product mix


  • Retain and grow existing customer base, ensuring exceptional end-to-end sales management across identified branch network


  • Working closely with identified branch network to ensure excellent customer sales journey- becoming part of their key sales team


  • Working collaboratively with TP Group peers to identify opportunities and where appropriate, jointly target.Develop a full understanding of the Benchmarx product and service offering in order to effectively convey this to your customers, listen to their feedback and incorporate this as appropriate to continually improve the customer experience



What we are looking for


At Benchmarx we recognise that diversity is our strength, we don't require you to have extensive knowledge in the kitchens and joinery space (although it can help!) but more an outgoing “can-do” attitude as well as a drive to succeed. Ideally you will have experience within sales as well as experience of managing your own time effectively. Both these attributes will stand you in good stead to drive sales, engage with new clients and proactively seek out new business. 


We are looking for someone with a passion to take ownership of both your own and your area’s success. This role is ideal for someone who loves to be out on the road, meeting new people and taking ownership of their own success whilst supporting the purpose of the larger business.
